8.30pm: History Talk. The launch of the 2022 Festival of Finn features the award winning documentary told by Corofin native, Dermot Hayes in cooperation with the Higgins Family, presented by Cumann Staire is Dúchais, Cora Finne. Based on an award winning radio documentary Dermot tells the story of the Four Higgins brothers from North Clare who fought in World War 1. Corofin Commuity Hall. (info)

Sat. Apr 30th
11.00am – 12.30pm: Marie’s Burren Experience Guided Walk. Led by local guide Marie McGauran, this walk is at a leisurely pace and takes in Mullaghmore within the Burren National Park. Meeting point: Corofin Community Hall. Cost: €10 per person. To book call Marie on +353 (0)86 8219441 (info)
9.00pm: Pub Quiz. The Salmon of Knowledge Table Quiz in aid of the Irish Red Cross- Ukraine Appeal. Teams of four compete in a fun event with trophies sponsored by Shannon Trophies. €40 per team. (info)

Sun. May 1st
10.00am – 1.00pm: Corofin Festival Market. The BIG Festival Market, organised by CHAF, will feature lots of stands with a wide variety of goods and services. Summer Raffle Draw will take place after the market. Free event. (info)
12.30pm – 2.30pm: Family Car Treasure Hunt. A popular fun event for all the family. Starting from Corofin Community Hall. Allow 2 hours to complete. Entry €5 per car. Sponsored by Shannon Trophies. (info)
4.00pm: Annual World Stone Throwing Championships. Corofin hosts the 21st world series at Bofeys Quinn’s Beer Garden. World titles for men and ladies to be contested so make sure you have a go. €5 entry per contestant. Re-entry allowed and encouraged!! Also Hanging Tough Competition. (info)
Evening: Pub Entertainment. The craic continues in all of the local pubs. (info)

Mon. May 2nd
12.30pm: Festival & Fancy Dress Parade. Join in the masquerade with a Masked Parade leaving from Corofin Community Hall. Let’s celebrate the wearing of the mask. If you are a super hero or a villain. Celebrity or politician or appearing incognito, all masks are welcome. Great prizes for most original entries. Entry €2 for fancy dress competition, floats go free. (info)
1.30pm: Lark at the Lake. A family fun day in the magical setting of Inchiquin Lake. Bring a rug, sit relax and enjoy. We have the Animal Road Show, Target Football, Giant Connect 4, Giant Buzz, Giant Ginga, Horse Shoe Throwing. Open Air Music, Market Stalls, BBQ, toilets, Presentation of All Ireland beards trophy.
